worship  "last vinyl before doomsday" LP  10th
anniversary reissue edition of 666  $14.99
this is considered by many in the doom metal world as one of the greatest doom
albums ever made.  originally released as the band's debut demo in 1999, and then
released on lp by painiac, and then on cd in japan, this album has been very difficult
to find for years often selling for over $100, and that is if you can find someone
willing to sell it.  this reissue is to celebrate the 10th anniversary and as a tribute to
fucked up mad max who killed himself shortly after this album was finished.

only 666 copies, on marble colored vinyl, comes with an inner sleeve with lyrics.  this
one is going to sell out fast.  you have been warned.

DEAD RAVEN CHOIR  "Lonesome Drinking Metal" CD
The latest album by Poland's black metal weirdos DEAD RAVEN CHOIR.  This time a
collection of standard country music covers done in their ever distinctive shroud of
soulless scuzz.  Don't worry, the songs are barely recognizable unless you know the
originals really well.  The Johnny Cash cover is pretty easy to recognize for most.  But
who cares about that.  The lo-fi darkness captured on this CD is everything you'd come
to expect from DRC.  So hear you go, bust out some brews, pop this into the CD player
and let's see if we can't get your soul to burn a little bit hotter.  $10 plus shipping
